Several fitting factories in Sweden, Finland and Russia manufactured neo-Renaissance buttons in the late 1800s and early 1900s. The models were very well liked and several were in production for a long time. The designs of the 1800s and turn-of-the-century were decorative with beaded ornaments and lace-edged covering plates. Niklaus was a novelty that was able to hold fittings bright for a long time. This model is from the late 1800s and the original manufacturer is Björkbodan Ruukin Osakeyhtiö. The button is made in the form of brass casting, as in the originals always with a black wood handle and is supplied polished or nickel-plated with a wood screw fastening.

The door handle is made to last for decades. The handle and cover plates are made of solid metalsing and the other parts are made of steel. The plastic hasn't been used. All parts can be purchased as spare parts. The product and packaging can be recycled in all respects.
