Classic doorknobs have been produced until our days. The building pharmacy model was manufactured at the end of the 19th century by LĂ„sfabriksaktiebolaget EA NĂ€sman & Co, in Eskilstuna, Sweden. In brass with number 112 and in bronze No 111. The fullness and roundness of the button is typical of 19th century buttons. Later models are thinner. This model has been used in Sweden and Finland with decorative turned button plates and key plates belonging to the model. There is also a key plate on the latch. The small solid brass button fits perfectly on the mirror door and sits beautifully on the side of the door.
The button has also been made bigger for exterior doors, No 212.12-41002-32-9M
The door handle is made to last for decades. The handle and cover plates are made of solid metal and other parts are made of steel. The plastic hasn't been used. All parts can be purchased as spare parts. The product and packaging can be recycled in all respects.
