Description

Several fitting factories in Sweden, Finland and Russia manufactured neo-Renaissance buttons in the late 1800s and early 1900s. The buttons were decorative with strings of pearls. The models were very well liked and several were in production for a long time. The model of this button is from the early 1900s and the original manufacturer Björkbodan Ruukin Osakeyhtiö. The model has round turned button plates and can be found in the company's catalog from 1931 under the number 24. The original locking pins have been transformed into adjustable mounting screws so that the button fits a wide variety of doors and locks. The button is made in the form of brass casting and, as in the originals, always with a black wooden handle. Supplied polished or nickel-plated with wood screw fastening. 

The door handle is made to last for decades. The handle and cover plates are made of solid metalsing and the other parts are made of steel. The plastic hasn't been used. All parts can be purchased as spare parts. The product and packaging can be recycled in all respects.
