Allbäck's linseed oil is made from high-quality linseed oil and has a high linolenic acid content. It has good painting and drying properties. Linseed oil is cold-pressed slowly, so that the proportion of impurities is as small as possible. The linseed oil is "washed". The protein is removed from the oil by washing, and then the clean oil does not mold. Cold-pressed raw linseed oil is used to impregnate wooden parts outdoors before treatment with linseed oil paint, wax or linseed oil varnish. During impregnation, the oil is heated to 60 degrees, so the oil becomes more runny and penetrates deep into the wood. Brushes in use can be stored in raw linseed oil by hanging them in a jar so that the bristles do not touch the bottom.
