Description
Cultural heritage product
This fine turned handle was manufactured in the late 1800s by Låsfabriks Aktiebolaget E.A. Näsman in Eskilstuna, Sweden. The handle can be found in their product catalog under the number 181. The handles were also sold to Finland and, for example, in Helsinki, the main doors of the Ateneum have the same handle. The handle has a bead edge typical of the era, which is repeated in many fittings, for example on the door buttons. The novelty of the era is nipping, which gives a warm silvery surface that dims over time in outdoor spaces.
The handle is supplied nickel-plated or incessant brass, allowing it to patinate outdoors quickly.
The doorknob is made to last for hundreds of years. The handle is made of closed brass. The product and packaging can be recycled in all respects.
