Description
Classic exterior door knobs were manufactured at the end of the 19th century by Låsfabriksaktiebolaget EA Näsman & Co, in Eskilstuna, Sweden with the number 212. The fullness and roundness of the button is typical for 19th century buttons. Later models are thinner. The button has been used in Sweden and Finland with decorative turned button plates and key plates belonging to the model. This button has been modernized with button shields that are attached with through screws to a modern lock. Suitable for new types of exterior door locks, e.g. Abloy. The button is nickel-plated.
The door handle is made to last for decades. The handle and cover plates are made of solid metal and other parts are made of steel. The plastic hasn't been used. All parts can be purchased as spare parts. The product and packaging can be recycled in all respects.
