Description

Several hela factories in Sweden, Finland and Russia manufactured neo-Renaissance-like buttons at the end of the 19th and early 20th centuries. The buttons were decorative with pearl tapes. The models were very well liked and several were in production for a long time. The model of this button dates from the beginning of the 20th century and the original manufacturer is Björkboda's Ruukki Limited Liability Company. The model has round turned button plates and can be found on the company's list from 1931 under number 24. The original locking pins have been transformed into adjustable mounting screws to fit the button into a wide range of doors and locks. The button is installed with penetrating screws and thus fits into new locks and doors. The button is made as brass casting and as in the originals always with a black wooden handle. Supplied polished or nibbled. 

The door handle is made to last for decades. The handle and cover plates are made of solid metalsing and the other parts are made of steel. The plastic hasn't been used. All parts can be purchased as spare parts. The product and packaging can be recycled in all respects.
