The Art Nouveau handle of the National Theatre was manufactured at the beginning of the last century at björkboda's Ruukki Limited Liability Company's factories on Kemiönsaari island in Finland. The handle has square cover plates and key plates. The original locking pin has been transformed into adjustable mounting screws to fit the handle into a wide range of doors and locks. Rakennusapteekki's the handles are manufactured using the same casting methods as the original and comma patterns, and the finishing touches are still handmade. The current name of the handle is due to the restoration of the National Theatre in Helsinki, where the handle was remanufactured.
The door handle is made to last for decades. The handle and cover plates are made of solid metal and other parts are made of steel. The plastic hasn't been used. All parts can be purchased as spare parts. The product and packaging can be recycled in all respects.
